In an accidental meeting with the then president of the Thissamaharama Pradeshiya Sabha (JVP) this was suggested. The president of the Pradeshiya Sabha requested to extend our assistance to help the selected children who were to cease schooling due to financial conditions of the family. The officers had promised with support and we got that opportunity. With the recent updates, all children are continuing their education and we have pledged the continuous support if they go for advanced level classes too.
Each student receives a monthly subscription to their own account and with their debit card they can get cash from any VISA or Mastercard teller machine. We are getting feedbacks quarterly. We are happy to note that some of the children are performing very well.
The officers of the Pradeshiya sabha were really caring on the people under them. Their administrative structure and activities were commendable. It was the best Pradeshiya sabha for my knowledge. I herewith extend my heartiest regards to the Director and the staff of Avon Pharmo Chem (Pvt) Ltd
